Make a difference as Junior Breeder
- As a Junior Breeder, your main goal is to develop into a successful Breeder in your assigned crop. Your main tasks are:

- Translate breeding targets into operational breeding plans
- Support plant and line selections during key breeding stages
- Keep detailed records throughout breeding cycles
- Assist in decisions on material advancement and planning of trials
- Learn to hand over R3 material to Seed Production and register in the system (e.g., Varmas)
- Implement new technologies and traits into the breeding program
- You will be part of a local breeding team, directly reporting to the Senior Breeder, with whom you will work closely. You’ll operate at an operational level within a defined country scope.

What you bring as a future colleague
- Bachelor of Science (HBO/Bachelor level) in a relevant field
- Proficiency in English and the local language, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Resilience to work under different weather and climate conditions
- Openness to feedback and close supervision
- This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career, motivated to learn and grow in a dynamic and hands-on environment. You’ll be guided step-by-step to take on more responsibilities and build expertise in breeding.
