FINANCIAL CONTROLLER INTERNSHIP
In Settimo Torinese, Italy, is active one of the main production centers of L’Oréal Group in the world. The plant's products are distributed in 30 countries. The production site is a full expression of the industrial, social and environmental values of the Group: quality, the result of innovation and control in production, safety of the working environments, mínimal impact on the environment. Between 2005 e il 2020 in terms of enviromental management, outstanding results have been reached. The site is in fact carbon neutral since 2015 and since 2018 is also a waterloop factory, that is a production site which consumes water solely as a raw material for products and not for other uses. In this way more than 40,000 m3 are reused and therefore saved every year, equal to over 80 swimming pool of 25 m.
Upon joining the company as a Financial Controller Intern,
**Key responsibilities of the role**:

- Participate in reporting activities for monthly closing, forecasts and budgets
- Participate in inventory reconciliation and contribute to the improvement of inventory management
- Participate in the elaboration of weekly financial indicators and monthly variance analysis vs main reference scenarios (budget, forecasts)
- Actively participate in internal continuous improvement projects and support the team in order to redefine and implement internal process and procedures
- Ensure compliance with the Group Internal control norms implementing where necessary the controls required

**Basic requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics and/or Business Administration (Finance field)
- Good knowledge of English, French is a plus
- Complete mastery of Microsoft Office and data analyst programs, Power BI and SAP knowledge is a plus

**Other requirements**:

- Previous work experience in the financial field
- Previous work/study experience abroad
- Strong knowledge of management accounting and business economics
- Involvement and motivation to work in a team
- Ability to analyze production processes
