For the Specialty Lines Department of international insurance company, we’re looking for a **Surety Underwriter.
**Posizione**:
He/she will support all the activities related to the management and development of the Surety Portfolio.

His/her activities will be the following:

- Management of the company’s bond portfolio in close collaboration with underwriters, actuaries and representatives across the organization;
- Monitoring and assessing both existing treaty and single risks and evaluating new opportunities for both cases;
- Monitoring market trends and more in general economic and legislative scenarios and their possible technical and strategic implications on our portfolio and proposition;
- Monitoring our risk exposures, portfolio trends and reporting to our home office;
- Maintaining, reinforcing and extending relationships with existing clients and prospects;
- Working with a close-knit network of national and international surety experts within the group;
- Advising, supporting, and training clients on bond topics;
- Actively promoting capabilities and expertise in the surety market within the group and externally in client and broker meetings, conferences, and market events.

**Requisiti**:
He/she must have an analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach and must be client oriented, curious, open-minded with an efficient, reliable and independent work style.

The role requires to be a strong team player with a willingness to assume responsibility and to have good communication/interpersonal skills, and willingness to share knowledge within the team.

Proficiency with Excel and similar programs and propensity to learn data management digital systems is key.

Excellent written and spoken English and Italian is essential.
