Privacy Program Manager

**Job Description Summary**: Lawyers and non lawyers specializing in privacy, data protection and cyber security matters, as well as product security. Lead the assessment, monitoring, and implementation of processes to assist the Company to comply with applicable global protection laws. In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

The Privacy Program Manager (GE HealthCare Global Privacy Office) will be responsible for the implementation of operational activities relating to compliance with privacy laws and regulations that may impact GE HealthCare globally. This position will provide project management and operational support to the GE HealthCare Business Units and Functions in the development, implementation, and maintenance of privacy policies, standards, and practices to meet legal, regulatory and business requirements. This role reports to GE HealthCare’s Senior Privacy Program Manager. Locations are Milan (IT), Madrid (ES).

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with GE HealthCare Business Units and Functions to document, track and manage the assessment and implementation of global privacy projects and privacy program roadmap commitments;
- Support Business Units with project management for implementation of legal and regulatory data privacy requirements, including: development of schedules, milestones, deliverables, and overall plans for projects.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide expertise and support relating to the development and delivery of privacy training and awareness programs;
- Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of privacy policies, procedures and guidelines that enable the Business Units and Functions to independently deliver results consistent with external privacy requirements and promote good data privacy standards globally;
- Coordinate the management of privacy related incidents and associated processes for notification of security breaches relating to personal data;
- Create and maintain on-going routine and ad hoc reports and metrics, including privacy project implementation status and escalation; and
- Support the network of regional and national GE HealthCare Data Privacy Officers and functional Data Protection liaisons in the EU to ensure a coordinated approach to Data Privacy compliance in the region.

**Required Qualifications**
- Three years or more of expertise in privacy and data protection laws/practices and - ideally - a solid understanding of the GDPR;
- Demonstrated leadership and project management experience;
- Ability to communicate effectively across Business Units, Functions and Regions;
- Compliance, IT or Cyber Security background beneficial;
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of the Healthcare business.

- Established project management skills.
