Air China, flag carrier of the People's Republic of China, present in Italy for over thirty years, is looking for 1 **Airport Officer**, full-time, location Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport.

**Essential Requirements**:
1. Excellent command of Italian and English (spoken and written), the knowledge of the Chinese language will be considered a preferential requirement

2. Experience in front-office environment in the tourism/airline sector as a ticketing and customer-care staff, or as a ramp agent

4. Education: Secondary School Education or Bachelor/Master Degree (preferential requirement)

5. Availability to work on flexible shifts even in the evening/nighttime hours and during national holidays

6. Driving licence B type, car owner (necessary for the evening/nighttime commute)

The **Airport Officer,** as a part of the airport station team, will provide both front
- and back-office assistance during flight operations before and after the departure/arrival.

**Key Functions**:

- Assist passengers and aircraft crew in and outside the air terminal
- Send information to HQ during and after the daily flight operations
- Manage baggage lost and found claims
- Check the work done by our handling agent at the check-in counter, boarding gate, and transit area.
- Ticketing at check-in counter / boarding gate, payments for upgrade / excess bag / UM and other services.
- Monthly / weekly statistics of station sales.
- Supervision near the aircraft of all the operations during flight preparation such as: aircraft load and unload, fuel refuelling, aircraft cleaning, catering load and unload
- Check administrative papers and documents including suppliers bills and invoices; write reports to GM, Station Manager and the HQ
- Any other activity required by the Station Manager or General Manager as necessary.

An initial training will be provided to learn how to use the airline's booking/check-in software and the airport procedures.

Initial fixed-term contract with real possibility of transformation into an open-ended contract.
