**Logistics Manager (M/F/D)**:

Under the responsibility of the Area Logistics Manager, the Logistics Manager for Italy is the point of contact for all operational matters related to projects during preparation and delivery of abnormal transport.

Their role will be to coordinate the schedules in close collaboration with, in particular, Project managers, Site managers, production sites, and suppliers (ship-owners, port operators, transporters), and to ensure the quality of the proper functioning of the logistics chain. They need to optimize and control all costs and invoicing, and keep the Logistics budgets updated. They will have to guarantee all Safety aspects (human and goods). The position covers Italy and could require work in other countries of the Nordex Mediterranean region, and is based in Rome, Italy.

Trips abroad could be expected.

**YOUR TASKS**:

- Responsibility for transporting wind turbine components to construction sites for all assigned projects: ensuring that the transport has the highest level of safety while being on time, on budget and components delivered without damage
- Transport coordination with the various suppliers, production sites, construction sites, and any other stakeholder concerned.
- Monitoring of project costs and keeping budgets updated
- Handle all administrative tasks: Price requests, Purchase Orders and bookings (in SAP) etc.
- Support for the subcontracting of logistics services in the country of destination: port operations at the port of entry and final deliveries to construction sites.
- Active participation in the improvement of internal processes (HSE, Purchasing )
- Ensure good internal and external communication with all relevant stakeholders
- Meeting facilitation on the analysis and monitoring of transport risks
- Study and solve the quality problems related to the specific transport of a project

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of logistics, over-size transport, and familiarization with local transport permitting regulations
- Experience in the wind industry is an asset
- Good command of IT tools
- Working knowledge of project management
- Strong ability to analyze the big picture and ability to prioritize
- Fit into a solution-oriented work organization
- Driving License
