The purpose of this role is to perform and support the higher risk standard Financial reporting and control activities required each month, quarter and year-end as well as supervise the execution of lower risk activities.
Job Title:
Financial Reporting & Control Accountant
**Job Description**:
You will:
- Deliver accurate and reliable output from specific tasks during monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processes.
- Assist in preparation of reports to assist review of budgets and forecasts.
- Deliver insightful reports for internal management reporting including variance analysis between Budget, Forecasts and Actual performance; Ad-hoc financial analysis of key financial items.
- Maintain a working relationship with other teams and stakeholders in other finance pillars. Provides technical analysis and advice to key partners appropriate to experience, and working within the team to solve complex problems.
- Support control and reporting compliance including support in preparing technical accounting memos.
- Support the audit process, liaising with external audit on appropriate workstreams.
- Support continual improvements in quality and efficiency of financial reporting processes, in collaboration with the wider finance team.
Qualifications:
- 3/4 years previous experience in Finance Controlling roles or Audit firm.
- Accounting High School Diploma/Economic Degree.
- Knowledge of basic of accounting.
- Fluent in English.
- Good knowledge of the Office package especially with Excel (pivot functions and tables).
