Industrial Engineering Equipment Cost Specialist

Be part of cross-functional team working to ensure estimated cost calculation and cost monitoring of Equipment. The key objective of the role is to ensure the use of a proactive cost planning, cost management and cost reduction practices anticipating costs planning and calculation early in the design and development cycle. Possibility to move to Parma, Mantova or Verona Sidel Plants.

**Your Mission**:

- Target cost calculation for Modules and Equipment on portfolio or new product lines.
- Establish a comprehensive framework for calculating target costs that includes all relevant drivers both materials and labour activities.
- Set parameters and variables to drive product cost estimation adapted to variable market conditions, such as inflation, fluctuations in raw material prices, labour costs and batches.
- Adapt target cost according to regional market conditions supporting best cost country localization strategies or best Supplier selection.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support make or buy strategy definition analyzing the cost-effectiveness, quality, lead time and capacity.
- Leverage automation and software tool to enhance target costing activities and project cost monitoring to streamline processes, improve accuracy and provide real-time data for decision-making.
- Engage in cross-functional interchanges with the Engineering Department to drive initiatives of Redesign to Cost and Design for Manufacturing leading innovative solutions on support of costs optimization and product quality increase.
- Work closely with both internal and external teams leading efforts to achieve cost reduction objectives. Set clear deadlines and objectives to ensure alignment and accountability across all parties involved.
- Be included on multicultural environment, recognizing and valuing diverse perspectives and approaches enhancing creativity and problem-solving.

**Your Profile**:
Level of education and languages:

- Master Degree in Engineering (mechanical and Industrial Engineering) or similar

Computer Skills:

- Proficient in MS Office
- CAD (Solidworks or similar)
- SAP knowledge is a plus

Language requirements:

- Fluent English, written and spoken
- French is a plus

Required experience and skills:

- Mechanical and Electrical skills / knowledge
- Production process and manufacturing technologies skills / knowledge
- Data management skills / knowledge
- Software and Excel automation skills / attitude
- Project management attitude
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in cross-functional and international teams
- Proactive, strong problem solving/analytical attitude
