**Your role**

We are looking for a Quality Laboratory Intern will conduct standard and internally developed tests on eyewear products, including materials, coatings, lenses, accessories, and packaging. Working under the supervision of the Lab Manager in a team of 14, the technician will ensure compliance with test protocols and provide accurate and timely results to support product quality assurance. This position is based in the central laboratory of an international network, which coordinates testing methods and protocols globally

**Main responsabilities**- Perform standard and custom tests on eyewear products and materials following approved protocols.- Analyze test results and document findings accurately in reports for internal stakeholders.- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and testing equipment.- Perform routine calibrations and report any equipment issues to the Lab Manager.- Ensure all testing activities adhere to company and international quality standards.- Maintain detailed records of test procedures and results, ensuring traceability.- Assist in developing and improving test methods in collaboration with the Lab Manager and team.
- Support the central lab's initiatives and share best practices with the network of international labs

**Main requirements**- Educational back ground High school diploma in a technical or scientific field (e.g., chemistry, physics, or materials science)- Previous experience in laboratory testing or quality control is a strong plus.- Ability to follow test procedures and protocols with precision.- Capable of troubleshooting minor technical issues with equipment.- Strong focus on accuracy and reliability in test results and reporting.- Familiarity with basic software tools for documentation (e.g., Excel, Word, Power point).- Comfortable working in a team environment and coordinating with other departments.- Proactive and able to meet deadlines under supervision.
