**Overview**:
**About the role**

This position, reporting to the Associate Manager, Regional Transportation HQ Europe, will act as a support for the day-to-day management of transport operations and analytics to learn how to drive end to end cost and performance improvements across the region.

The role is supporting the day-to-day operations within the region, performance management and project management to enable sales freight and COS containment and enhance performance KPI improvements and cost savings.

**About the Team/Department**

This position, reporting to the Associate Manager, Regional Transportation HQ Europe, will act as a support for the day-to-day management of transport operations and analytics to drive end to end cost and performance improvements across the region.

**Responsibilities**:
The intern, who will work closely with the associate manager and the team, will learn how to:

- Solve day to day operational issues impacting the ability to distribute effectively
- Contribute to primary freight monthly analysis to support SF/ODE meetings
- Support cross functional activities to secure transportation capacity during peak periods
- Build a database to monitor the claims related with damaged goods
- Support on creation the stock transfer RDC to RDC
- Help on creating the weekly PO to pay the CT
- Daily help on keeping the delivery date always updated in SAP
- Support the data collection and root cause analysis for Weekly and Monthly Operational Reviews
- Support the continuous improvement plans to improve service KPIs
- Support the primary freight monthly analysis

**Experience you’ll bring**:

- Bachelor University degree in Logistics, Economics, or Industrial Management, Engineering
- No experience / short experience in logistics or supply chain (6 months)
