This position leads key elements of the HR function including hiring, development, employee relations management, organizational planning. Part of the local management team, this role plays a key role in shaping the business for the future, whilst providing day to day HR support for the business. The HR Manager serves as a company representative and spokesperson in labor negotiations and in relations with union representatives.
**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Confirm compliance with governmental regulations, fair employment, safety, wage hour, compensation, unemployment, outplacement, providing end to end professional HR service to Fiorenzuola location Promoting HR best practice and coaching and mentoring team members and Line Managers
- Manage recruiting, training, development, and retention for all salaried and hourly workforce.
- Establish and maintain policies and practices to maintain relationships with employees and encourage a joint effort consistent with leadership’s direction, business plan, and governmental regulations.
- Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to drive the delivery of the business plan and people strategy, monitoring the effectiveness of existing policies, processes, and practices, making recommendations where appropriate to position the organization to attract and retain top talent and assisting in building strong talent pipelines and managing recruitment
- Ensure Korn Ferry competencies & improved assessment capabilities for hiring.
- Ensure a robust Organization Review, Talent Review, and Compensation Review processes.
- Support and drive One Emerson values.
- Support safety initiatives.
- Supporting line managers across the business to get the best out of their people and to have the right organizational structure and design
- Ensuring that all employee lifecycle processes are actioned, and accurate data recorded
- Act as coordinator of labor/trade unions relations.
- Ensure compliance with local law and Italian employees Privacy legislation.
- HR Metrics including attrition, absence, age/service and other KPI profiles
**FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. Advanced degree in Human Resources, business or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner.
- 3+ years managerial experience.
- Experience with Trade Unions cooperation.
- High energy level, positive attitude as a must.
- Fluent in English.
