**Job Description Summary**:
Responsible for Lean Transformation Plan in assigned business/Functions, driving the required cultural change in association with Senior leadership. Has comprehensive knowledge of underlying principles, approaches and methodology. Has the ability to document the current and plan for the future Value Stream Map, driving the transformation in the frame of Policy Deployment (aka Hoshin Kanri).
**Essential Responsibilities**
- Be partner of business Leader in the Lean transformation journey
- Drive & foster a Continuous improvement culture, where the whole team owns transformation plan
- Lead complex & inter-functional improvement projects with a goal of enhanced performance
- Constantly seek, share, and implement best practices
- Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional team empowered to execute the Lean strategy for process improvement
- Ability to document current and plan for future Value Stream Map, presents projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders
- Communicates solutions across the own function and with cross-functional partner organizations
- Facilitate, train, and coach other team members in the use of Lean tools
- Will be GEAPS advocate in the Area assigned, in order to drive adoption & cultural evolution

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace or Industrial)
- Robust experience in operational or technical roles in a complex manufacturing environment
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Fluency in Italian and English
- EU Work Permit
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong relationship & leadership skills: able to influence, motivate and work effectively within a matrix environment
- Only GE Avio srl current employees are eligible

**Desired characteristics**
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing
