**Purpose of the position**

As Head of Development Services Italy, you will be based within the Italian Development team and you will directly report to the Head of Development Italy, leading a multidisciplinary team, offering support to and working closely with multiple technologies (Solar, Wind, BESS and Hydro) and on projects at different development maturity stages. Your team will be providing guidance and wide-ranging oversight to all developers and other departments covering Land Origination and Management, Grid Management (both HV and MV), GIS, and general Development Assistance. The position is pivotal and central to guarantee high quality and efficient development of several GWs pipeline.

**Areas of responsibility and accountability**

Main responsibilities will be managing delivery of development services across the Italian development organization, and particularly:
- Leading and supervising grid management team’s activities during the development and construction phase, up to Commercial Operational Date;
- Leading and supervising land origination and land management activities, pivotal to both business and project development activities;-
- Leading and supervising GIS activities, supporting and developing single geographical vision of our activities where all will collaborate, with dedicate resources and tools;
- Coordinate with the Head of Development Italy to Implement/update current Development Service organization in an efficient way.
- **Management responsibilities**:
The Head of Development Services Italy will lead a team of currently 6 resources and in continuous growth, will be a member of Development Management Team directly reporting to the Head of Development Italy.

The Head of Development Services Italy shall manage and develop the Unit to achieve of targets:
Delivering on business priorities and ensuring collaboration with other units;- Overseeing the overall planning, budgeting, and performance management process within the Unit;
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of employees;
- Ensuring awareness of and adherence with Code of Conduct, The Statkraft Way and in general high compliance standards.**Qualifications**:
**Education**- Higher relevant education within Engineering or Business, preferably at Master’s level.
- **Experience / knowledge**- Solid experience from Development role, preferably in a large or medium-sized international organisation with strong compliance focus
- Land contracts and/or grid connection solution contracts knowledge is strongly preferable
- Local business knowledge and experience is an advantage
- **Leadership / abilities**- Leadership skills with an ability to build trust and empowerment in a distributed organisation
- Relationship builder with the ability to collaborate constructively with business and functional leaders
- High personal integrity and high ethical standards with strong HSSE understanding and commitment
- Strong commercial mindset and drive with ability to make good judgements, take decisions and create results
- Strong drive and passion for leading a heterogenous team
- Capability to build the organisation and processes required to deliver on a new and large business ambition
- Strong communication skills both in English and in Italian
