Sustainability Analyst

Would you like to help Italian and international companies in planning and executing sustainability strategies? Interested in utilizing a leading emissions calculator tool to calculate, simulate, report and reduce carbon emissions?

We are increasing our local expertise and looking for an Analyst to the areas of sustainability and carbon footprint management

You will be based in our office in **Milan**, with a hybrid way of working.

**What will you do?**:

- You will work with an international team delivering environmental consulting services to companies in Italy and abroad by acting as our local sustainability advisor.
- A key element will be helping customers to utilize our certified and modular cloud-based Emissions Calculator tool that enables companies to assess carbon emissions from scopes 1, 2 and 3, and from the entire life cycle of a product or a service.
- In your work, you will conduct emission reduction projects/programs, execute carbon calculations and prepare responses to RFP’s with your colleagues.
- A typical project might also include defining the environmental impact of a certain product or service and calculating an LCA.

**Whom are we looking for?**:

- You have a Master’s Degree in a relevant field, such as MSc with a focus on Environmental Engineering or Sustainability Management, gained with excellent results from a top University/Business School
- You have a genuine interest towards sustainability and related technology solutions.
- You have strong problem-solving, teamworking and presentation skills.
- You are interested in developing your own expertise in an international environment.
- You are fluent in **Italian and English** (other European languages will be considered as a plus).

In addition, we value:

- Previous client facing work experience from sustainability consulting or working in an environmental function.
- Experience from conducting carbon accounting and LCA calculations, and at least basic understanding of CDP, SBT and GRI.
- Experience of using different environmental databases (for example Gabi and Ecoinvent).
- Knowledge of sustainability reporting standards, such as WEF Reporting, UN GC SDG Ambition advantageous.
- Experience in logistics and supporting sales.
