We’re searching for an experienced Head of Global Identity and Directory Solutions in Lonza IT infrastructure. The mission of the Head of Global Identity and Directory Solutions is to provide senior-level IT infrastructure management and leadership within the Global IT Infrastructure landscape. The Head of Global Identity and Directory Solutions is responsible to provide the end to end technical design and delivery services for the Global Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access Management and Active Directory Solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for overall engineering and technical management of the Identity and Directory Solutions including Group Policy Management, monitoring, audit trail, backup, restore / disaster recovery, cleanup and vulnerabilities management Single Sign On solution.
- Steering Committee representation for projects such PAM, IAM and other related areas
- Optimization and automation of IAM processes
- Management of internal and outsourced team
- Continuous improvement of the outsourced managed services
- Responsible for the operations, maintenance and security of the authentication and directory services in accordance with policy and guidance
- Support Global Identity and Active Directory with the management, sustainment and deployment of authentication, directory and policy services
- Perform enterprise and domain level management; authentication services deployment, maintenance, monitoring and reporting; troubleshooting, testing and recommendations to solve persistent service issues; performance monitoring and trend analysis to continually improve service capability; and establish and manage required subordinate services to ensure optimal performance (e.g., Certificate Authorities)
- Supervisory responsibilities to include but not limited to:

- technical/administrative training; assuring ITIL process compliance; scheduling to effectively utilize all team resources; committing to quality management standards, QA/QC compliance, and metrics analysis
- Responsible for Tier III support for issues varying from AD object restorations / deletions / moves, to include users and/or computers Group policy creation/permissions/deletions
- Provide guidance, training, and work leadership to engineers and other technical staff
- Recommends innovative solutions to more effectively and efficiently support work performance
- Develop and/or maintain SOPs associated with current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- Advanced technical experience with IAM (e.g. Sailpoint), PAM (e.g. Delinea) and Active Directory Services
- Bachelors of Science preferred in IT.
- 3+ years team lead role
- Experience with
- Windows DNS
- Group PolicyActive Directory Federation Services & Azure MFAActive Directory and Azure Active Directory
- PKI infrastructure (including HSM modules)
- Progressive IT leadership experience
- Experience working with a globally distributed, cross-functional engineering teams
- Demonstrated experience in communication with all levels including executive leadership, both verbally and written
- Proven experience with simplification, standardization and automation skills
- Drive cultural and technological disruption
- Experience building, scaling & monitoring infrastructure needed within the Engineering services
- Strong Leadership and team building skills
- Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions
- Technical infrastructure knowledge

**Preferred skills and qualifications**
- Experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industry
- German language skills would be a benefit
- Experience with large, multi-national organization
