- We are looking to strengthen our **Trims & Composite Purchasing Team** and we are searching for identify a **Direct Buyer**, based in **Maranello**(Italy).

In this position, you will report to_ Paolo Biondi _and you will be responsible for selecting and maintaining relationships with suppliers, securing favorable contracts and prices, ensuring optimal inventory levels, ensuring materials meet quality standard, managing budgets, placing and tracking orders; all the activities have to by compliant with the purchasing strategy.
Overall, the Direct Materials Buyer plays a vital role in the supply chain, contributing to the efficiency and profitability of the manufacturing process by ensuring that the necessary materials are available at the right time, in the right quantity, with the right Quality level, and at the right cost. He also contributes to the sustainability path according to the Ferrari guidelines.

As part of the team, you will be responsible of:
1. Supplier Research and Selection: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships.
2. Price Negotiation: Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions to secure the best value.

3. Purchase Order and Contract Management: Issue and monitor purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
4. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, raw material prices, and economic conditions for informed purchasing decisions.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, logistics, finance, and marketing departments.
6. Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage supply contracts.
7. Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
8. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports and analyses on purchasing activities.
9. Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with legal and company regulations.
10. Relationship Management: Maintain positive supplier relationships and resolve disputes.

**Required Profile**

To perform in the role, the following skills are required: attitude to questioning and challenge status quo, communication skills and problem solving, propensity to work within a team with multiple shareholders, proactivity. Working knowledge of Office package.
Frequency of travel: monthly (4-6 per year)
