In this role you will be accountable for researching, documenting and developing technical solutions that help divisions increase their operational efficiencies, reducing operating risks or help achieving business objectives resulting from Business demands.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Solutions: Collaborates with the Global Division IS Managers, Service Delivery Center Managers, internal and 3rd Party IS Suppliers (as the case may be) to build appropriate IS Services and Solutions; in alignment with ABB guidelines & standards and industry best practices leading to improved efficiency or operational functionality.
- IS Delivery: Delivers IS service/support of the relevant practice within the Business Area supporting execution of requirements within budgeted costs and time schedule. Ensures demands are in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs), that agreed time, budget and quality specifications are met. Maintains relationships with IS management at global and local level to balance trade-offs for cost, time and demand; manages expectations and requirements for build delivery of requested IS services. Lead the capture, analysis, aggregation and prioritization of solution demand.
- Processes: Collaborate with Business Management in so far to understand related business process demand to existing or new relevant IS solutions. Coordinates the delivery of IS Solutions to meet the required levels of cost, quality and time.
- IS Standards: Proactively develops and maintains appropriate standards and guidelines across the Business Areas, ensuring alignment to given IS goals, cost efficiency, and compliance with ABB IS Enterprise Architecture, any relevant IS Standards and any other applicable ABB Group Directives and ABB Group Guidelines. Gives input for development of IS internal standards. Ensure the IS Solutions are aligned to IS strategic objectives and targets, and compliant with ABB IS Enterprise Architecture and any other applicable ABB Group Directives and ABB Group Guidelines. Drives a standardized way of working i.e. for capturing demand, discussing and documenting requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Increases satisfaction with IS services by pro-actively seeking to identify solutions that help achieve the over-arching goals of improved business performance. Ensure satisfaction with IS Solutions by assessing expectations, verifying that deliverables yield expected results. Manage relationships with other Business Area and divisional representative to share experiences, identify common practices, discuss and propose resolution to common issues.
- Incident, Change and Project: Consults and provides input for any incident, change or project which has, or might have, a major impact on Divisions, and/or on the whole of IS. Informs/consults relevant IS colleagues on any change or project activities which may have a major impact on the others' areas of responsibility. Assist the Run or Project teams where appropriate with research that could yield a better understanding of failure causes.
- Governance: Executes, for assigned tasks, all actions in IS processes according to agreed RACIS and LEC specification. Adheres to relevant IS process framework and governance model.
- IS Strategy: When requested, contributes to the development of the Business Area and/or Divisional IS Strategy and ABB IS Enterprise Architecture.

**Your background**:

- Educated to Bachelor of Science in a Computing related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience in financial management.
- Project Management qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally to a wide range of people at all levels.
- Ability to diagnose and meticulously work through complex issues.
- Ability of working closely with vendors.
- Team player, good personal interaction skills.
- High level of energy, curious minded, positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to operate within a pressurized environment, consistently delivering results and achieving objectives on time and within the agreed parameters.
- Sharp awareness of commercial reality; while being innovative and forward thinking.
- Ability to travel Globally and work flexible hours as required.
- Ability to drive and manage projects to completion.
- Have an Architectural background and have experience across multiple vertical sectors.
- Excellent stakeholder management capability within complex environments.
