We are currently looking for enthusiastic and talented Senior Clinical Research Associate to build our clinical team in Europe. This position is remote and can be based anywhere Italy.

Cmed occupies a unique position in the clinical research industry, not only as an expert in the operational delivery of clinical trials but also as a developer of its own technologies for managing clinical data.

This is a very exciting time to join Cmed, as we start to leverage our already considerable expertise in the delivery of clinical trials with encapsia. This unique combination of operational expertise and the latest technology helps reduce the costs and increase the speed of developing new medicines, essential to both improving and saving the lives of patients.

Key responsibilities

Site management and monitoring activities for assigned clinical studies, working individually or co-monitoring with other Clinical Research Associates (CRAs).

Assist in the assessment of contract CRAs

Provide other support to Clinical Operations, appropriate for your level of expertise.

May be required to participate in regulatory submissions, startup activities, contract/budget negotiations.

Qualifications and attributes

Experience in a Senior CRA role.

Contract Research Organization (CRO) background is an advantage.

Strong problem solving, organizational and time management skills. Ability to multi-task and attend to detail.

Therapeutic area experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable: oncology (required), hepatology/biliary, medical devices, post-surgical pain, endocrinology and/or orphan diseases.

Experience monitoring Phase I and II trials.

Experience with startup activities, contract/budget negotiations.

Regulatory experience including submissions and local knowledge of Competent Authority process.

Fluent in Italian and English

Bachelor’s degree.
