**This role in summary**:
The Cross Functional Quality Leader (CFQL) ensures projects follow Whirlpool requirements (WPD) as an integrated core team member. The CFQL is responsible for managing New Project Introduction Launch Quality through collaboration with the core team to develop strategies, track and execute plans that deliver the program quality objectives.The CFQL will engage the platform architect, global APQP lead and Engineering Organization on subsystems and product level solutions.The CFQL is accountable of the Quality KPIs, proposes and supports as cross functional quality improvements projects inside the Continuous improvement plan.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Partner and maintain collaboration with the other Functions in the Company to develop project plans to achieve quality targets for New projects and to improve the quality of the current production
- Manage the APQP Dashboard execution
- Calculate KPIs, report KPIs and ensure there is an action plan covering KPIs not meeting targets including product capability, process capability, test coverage, project maturity, Quality indicator, 5 star and Total Cost Quality (TCQ)
- Track, facilitate and lead project issue tracking & root cause until resolution - throughout project execution (FRACAS)
- Facilitate CPM (Critical Parameter Management) list definition and metrics highlighting risks to the project team
- Utilize technical competency to collaborate with design and process engineering in understanding, implementing and ensuring flawless execution of Design for Assembly / Design for Manufacturing requirements during NPI and ownership related to the ongoing monitoring/audit of the established DFA/DFM requirements.
- Participate in design reviews with focus on voice of consumer & quality
- With core team alignment, promote, develop and track the Quality Assurance Plan including dFMEA/design Reviews, pFMEA, EOL development, Field Test, Pilot Plan, Control Plans, PPAP, and Ramp Up plan
- Support Service on the fault tree for the new product features.
- Execute Early Production Containment/Safe Launch - Manage & complete weekly reports of the manufacturing, 5 star and field quality data to detect issues early, drive containment actions and develop sustainable corrective actions after launch.
- Support Overall Business Team and Operations objectives
- Support the implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) through the QA matrix development.
- Support on the active products, monitor quality data (CSBI) and provide support on solution on quality issues.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor or Master's degree
- Previous experience in coordination of project team ( functional reports) or as Junior Project Manager
- Italian and English proficiency level
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Power Point
- Analytical mindset, problem solving attitude, excellent communication skills
