**Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.
The Learning Manager will be responsible for managing the wing to wing learning process. You will be in charge of managing the local Avio Aero legacy Learning System (Avio Academy), interfacing with our supplier, managing the funded training process with the responsibility of 0.5 milion euros. You will act as a focal point for the HR functional learning.
**Essential responsibilities**
- Lead training and learning process for Avio Aero
- Manage the Avio Academy platform enhancements
- Coordinate Avio Aero functional budget in accordance with finance. Monitor training cost along the year. Responsible for managing the payment and invoicing towards the LMS supplier
- Manage Avio Aero nomination cycle in partnership with the Aviation Learning team
- Act as focal point for all the competency mapping training deployments and implementation. Define the changing competencies needed during both organic and inorganic growth. Develop / update competency profiles and competency gap analysis
- Partner with business leaders to identify, analyze, and prioritize performance development needs. Conduct needs analysis and recommend solutions tailored on business needs
- Owns the cross functional learning initiatives such as I&D, English training
- Manage and control the implementation of the new LMS and funded training program process improvement
- Fondimpresa/Fondirigenti: manage and create the collection of the business training need, coordinate and influence functional training focals, creation of the Avio wide training plan.
- Manage the Union Agreement in order to compliantly kick off the funded plans
- Implement solid operating rhythm to review plan accuracy and deviation
- Handle training audits
- Design and deliver training solutions, lead / facilitate implementation of other solutions including development of training materials - act as Italian master trainer
- Select and manage external training consultants for course development and delivery
- Drive the team to benchmark work processes and work with departments to make process improvements
- Report timely feedback on learning effectiveness to the business through pre-determined KPIs and communicate suggestions for improvement
**Qualification/Requirements**
- Master’s degree in HR, Economics or related field
- Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training manager or similar roles
- Significant experience in contract & vendor management, handling business stakeholders
- Fluent and/or excellent verbal/written skills in both English and Italian
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
