Accounting Specialist

**Accounting Specialist**:
We are seeking an Accounting Specialist for our Accounting Department.

**Major responsibilities**:
Carrying out the entire accounts payable cycle in an interesting and varied environment
Timely request and entry of invoices into the financial system
Correct account assignment of invoices using our chart of accounts
Reviewing purchase invoices to ensure invoice, receipt document and purchase order match
Processing of open item list to ensure timely and correct payments to suppliers, taking into account supplier accounts
Support month-end closing activities
Reconcile balance confirmations between affiliated companies
Post accruals for outstanding invoices
Monitor unbilled goods receipts
Reconciliation of general and subsidiary ledgers
Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports
Ensure financial records are accurate and adhere to local GAAP and other tax requirements
Preparation and submission of Intrastat monthly reports
Support the trade account receivables
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures. Support with ideas and suggestions accounting procedures review recommending improvements
Support the organization on the accounting practices and financial record keeping.

**Required knowledge and skills**:
Proven work experience as an accounting specialist or relevant role
Strong understanding of local GAAP and other accounting and tax requirements
Accounting Degree, with at least 3 years of experience
Problem-solving skills
Advanced knowledge of Excel and ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics
365_Business Central)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Fluency in English, written and spoken.
