**RDM Group** is looking for an **Accounting Specialist **to join the team **Admin & Finance** based in **Milan, Italy.**

The **Accounting Specialist** is responsible for **managing general accounting, supplier accounting and customer accounting** (excluding credit management). He/she is in charge of all **administrative burdens, therefore accounting/statutory and financial in nature, of the Italian companies of RDM Group and their subsidiaries**.

**Accountabilities**:

- Ensuring the proper maintenance of **general accounts**;
- Ensuring the **monthly and annual closing** of accounts by means of adjustment entries and the preparation of the relevant financial statements, including reporting for the consolidated office;
- Drafting and balances **intercompany accounts**;
- **Coordinating, plans and organises periodic closing activities** in synergy with the other functions of finance’s team (management control, treasury, customer-supplier accounting) and the other company functions involved (e.g. purchasing and sales);
- Drafting the **notes to the financial statements** of the **Holding Company **and the two **Italian companies**;
- Cooperating with the **external auditors and Internal Audit**;
- Involving in specific projects to innovate, improve and make more efficient the accounting and administrative processes and the** IT solutions used by the Group**.

**Requirements**:

- **Economics degree or cultural equivalent**;
- Knowledge of national and international accounting standards **(Ita Gaap and IFRS Gaap)** and the statutory rules for keeping accounts;
- **Around 3-4 years of experience**, preferably in diversified environments with a contemporary organization;
- **Good knowledge of English**;
- Advanced skills of Microsoft Office suits;
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills;
- The ability to work independently with zero supervision and lots of autonomy;
- Capability to work in Team with other Colleagues and other Departments;
