Project Controller

Due to rapid expansions in providing detail design services for thermal power plants, the Mott MacDonald Energy Unit in Genova requires a Project Controller to support this increase in workload.

As Project Controller, you'd be required to demonstrate the following:

- Analytical skills to prepare and critically evaluate performance measures and across datasets
- Ability to focus on key issues and drive out mitigating or recovery actions across the project
- Good task facilitation skills
- Experience of implementing project controls processes and toolsets
- Good communicator and team worker
- Problem solver with logical thinking

**Essential Criteria**Experience & Behaviour Skills**
- Project controls experience
- Knowledge and experience in project controls methodologies
- Ability to effectively analyse project schedule and cost performance
Able to co-ordinate and work with the Project Managers
- Project reporting including monitoring of KPIs
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Support Project Managers in maintaining effective and timely change control processes
- Comprehensive understanding of Work Breakdown Structures and Cost Breakdown Structures and alignment of same

**Qualifications**:

- Educated to degree level and/or hold commercial, project controls or management qualification
**Desirable Criteria**
**Experience**:

- Knowledge or experience using Power BI
- Knowledge and proficiency with Primavera (P6) or Microsoft Project and/or other planning and resourcing software
**Qualifications & Professional Memberships**:

- Commercial or Project Management qualifications considered.
