For a multinational company operating in packaging sector, we are looking for a

**BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ITALY AND EMEA**

Manages assigned key account relationships. Protects existing business and grows sales within key customers. Leads business develop initiatives to penetrate key accounts in new regions and product categories. Sets and maintains strategy for these customers.

**Main activities and responsibilities**:

- Penetrate and develop relationships with assigned account targets.
- Compile strategies and plans to grow business in specified customers, markets, or geographic regions.
- Populate and maintain Dynamics pipeline with impeccable accuracy in order to measure success.
- Meet and exceed sales growth targets.
- Understand and communicate the market trends and competition for the region.
- Secure contracts for new projects to lock in growth.
- Compiles information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.
- Travels for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships.

**Qualifications, personal and technical skills**
- Degree in related field or degree level.
- 5 years’ experience in Business Development.
- Experience working in a manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of FMCG market.
- Proven success, knowledge and experience growing sales.
- Pipeline management and forecasting skills including sales planning and territory management.
- Building relationships, managing sales processes and negotiation skills.
- Developing budgets and forecasting
- Computer literate (word, excel, ERP)
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- CRM experience.
- Ability to work with shared leadership and in cross functional teams.
- Strong listening skills, customer focused, ability to manage own time, organize and prioritize numerous activities, excellent problem solving skills.

**Location**: remote work (HQ near Vicenza)
