**The Role**

This is a KAM role with responsibility of increasing Norgren Industrial Automation Southern Europe
sales by promoting the value proposition of our electromechanical linear solutions (Bahr) to new
and existing OEMs and End Users within the Industrial Automation market. The role will focus on
identifying the decision-making hierarchy, increasing intimacy to influence and drive customer
choice of Norgren products. Moreover, the person will track the electrical linear motion business
in the assigned region, while maintaining a close contact with Norgren specialists and strategic
partners around the globe. This role requires a high degree of integrity, initiative, attention to detail,
and a strong willingness to get the job done.

**Main Responsibilities**

Development of existing and new customers, such as OEMs and End Users, in the field of
linear technology and electric actuation within the Industrial Automation market. This will
involve the preparation of detailed Account Development Plans and will require a good
understanding of customers’ organizations by developing relationships with key decision
products.
Visiting customer operational sites to promote our products’ engineering advantage and
benefits to the site engineers. The role requires frequent domestic and occasional
international travels.

Being responsible for maintaining customer relationships, being the direct contact for
customers when it comes to technical and commercial questions, as well as developing and
implementing customer acquisition measures within the sales area and coordinating the
administrative sales tasks.
Based in Italy, mainly looking after Italian customers, occasionally supporting Spanish
colleagues.
Being responsible for launching new products at customer accounts with the support of the
regional Marketing/Business Development teams.
Producing detailed sales forecasts and timely monthly reporting.
Preparing, negotiating and managing all customer pricing programmes and contracts, striving
for consistency and price/value improvement whilst working within country procedures

**What We Are Looking For**

which require technical explanation, ideally linear technology/electrical actuators, in the
Industrial Automation sector.
Experience of working closely with key OEMs.
Technical degree or comparable technical training.
Showing an ability to work unsupervised for extensive periods and must be a self-starter who
is able to translate strategic direction into his own tactical action plan at his designated key
accounts.
Experience and ability in preparing and delivering technical and sales presentations to all
audiences.
Confidence in building working relationships with customers at a senior level.
Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and MS PowerPoint, as well as ERP, CRM, CAD
systems will be a plus.
Excellent communication and organisation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, while being a strong team player.
Particularly interested in acquiring new customers, with “hunter” attitude.
Italian native speaker. Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
Spanish will be a plus.

**What We Offer**

Annual salary: 70.000 € - 80.000 €
