Tyvak International, a Terran Orbital company, is seeking new members to join their team to support space vehicle development. Tyvak focuses on developing and integrating key components and technologies into highly-integrated and high performance nano-satellite vehicles. The team’s skillset ranges from architecture, design, build, and test of mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems integrated into small spacecraft.

Specific tasks may include:

- Working in a small team environment closely with hardware, software, mechanical, and systems engineers to develop optimal solutions to complex problems.
- Developing thermal simulations and performing analysis to inform vehicle design (Primarily Thermal Desktop).
- Vehicle thermal control system architecture sizing and definition.
- Thermal Control system hardware development, implementation, and test.
- Contributing to concept of operations development and mission operations.
- Participating in team discussions involving vehicle architecture and design for future projects.

NOTE: Vacancy is expected to be filled in no more than 30 calendar days from the completion of the hiring process.

**Requirements**:
Specific requirements include:

- Highly motivated, self-starting, enthusiastic, and able to perform duties autonomously;
- Ability to solve complex problems with a high degree of innovation and effectiveness;
- Ability to lead and motivate project teams to ensure program success;
- BS or MS in engineering field with focus on Space Engineering or other engineering discipline;
- Proficiency with Thermal Desktop analysis software is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with spacecraft and/or launch vehicle systems. Small satellite or CubeSat experience desirable.
