HR Generalist

Job Summary
As an HR Generalist, you implement Avient’s human resources services, policies, and programs. In close cooperation with the HR Managers you collaborate with the Business Units in supporting decision making processes, impacting the results of the organization by recruiting, retaining, rewarding, and developing the industry’s best talents.

Essential Functions
- In our team of passionate HR Experts we need you to engage with us in:

- Connecting with managers and employees on site for their general inquiries
- Will support the Italian sites indistinctly, being those: Pogliano, Lomagna, Merate, Gallarate and Magenta.
- The recruitment process and leading the onboarding activities for our new hires
- Driving HR policies and programs implementation for existing and new employees in the business units located at the sites indicated above
- Processing data in our HR information systems, e.g. salary and wage administration and ensuring high quality in the above mentioned
- Creating statistics, reports and presentations to enable HR Management and Business in decision making
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

- We’re looking for a dynamic and versatile personality who doesn’t mind working under pressure and has:

- Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in HR or has an equivalent education and at least 5 years of HR experience in an industrial environment
- Experience in labor law
- Proficiency in written and spoken Italian and English, as well as strong communication skills
- Experience with global HR systems, data bases and time keeping
- Good command of Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently, organizational skills, a self-confident demeanor and high service orientation
