**Service Engineers & Superintendents**
We are looking for a **Service Engineer and/or a Superintendent** with a Mechatronic or E&A background to join us in the Global Field Service Team. Parts and Field Service & Workshop is one of the key enablers to support customers towards sustainable future with the latest technologies.
The preferred location for this position is Trieste, Italy. In this position, remote working is an option, too, when you are not in the Field.
**Your role and responsibilities**
Our Engineers in the roles of Service Engineers or Superintendents typically perform commissioning, overhauls, trouble shootings, on-site repairs, audits and analysis as well as upgrades and retrofits, on marine and land-based installations with Wärtsilä newest engines and equipment. Our team focuses on new, the next generation 4S products (W14, W31, W46X and W2X). Safety, environment, and wellbeing are our foundation, and we never compromise them in our daily work. **Requirements for the position**
- B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Mechanical engineering or similar experience gained through work.
- Good command in English, both written and spoken to communicate with our clients.
- Technical problem-solving skills.
- Flexible approach.
- Ready to travel around 200-230 days/year, also abroad.
- Willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in working in the Field and/or onboard of vessels.
- Mechatronic or Electrical & Automation technical knowledge.
