**General Summary**:
The position is responsible for new product development to be introduced in the market. The PLM will provide support in the areas of market analysis, market communication, product pricing, product line planning and has cross-functional responsibilities working with the Sales organisation, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Distribution Channels. Ideally this person will have a good understanding of the RF products market and wireless technologies and competition landscape.

Responsibilities include product line strategy, pricing, profitability, and marketing.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Figuring out the information that is needed and conducting research analysis to define new product requirements.
- Analyzes sales and other financial data to derive information vital to influence / support managerial decisions concerning market penetration, product modification, market expansion and proposes recommendations as appropriate.
- Influences and supports the formulation of product strategies, plans and policies.
- Supports product lifecycle management, including new product introduction, with fielding sales calls, assisting customer support representatives. May assist and in some situations be responsible for inventory and shipping processes and coordination, quotes, bid preparation, product loads and cost inquiries.
- Assists with the development, implementation, and coordination of strategic market plans for assigned product line. Assists in achieving product line strategies set in each assigned market.

**Skills Required**:

- Analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to articulate complex concepts to a broad range of internal and external audiences;
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with several types and levels of staff and external contacts, both in writing and verbally;
- Must have effective presentation skills;
- Ability to work simultaneously on many priorities, which change frequently;
- Assertive, persuasive and creative problem-solving skills.
