**The Role**
As our Legal Counsel in Italy, you will be responsible for the legal review of, among other things, lease agreements, commercial contracts, and the handling of potential disputes. You will also provide general legal advice across various areas within NORMAL.

You will work closely with the Italian team - including Expansion Managers, Regional Managers, and the Country Manager - and be part of the international Legal team responsible for NORMAL’s legal affairs globally. You will have a broad interface with several departments across the organisation.

**Your main responsibilities**:

- Assist in negotiating leases for new stores in Italy, including legal review of lease agreements.
- Review and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Handle and negotiate potential disputes.
- Provide general legal advice across various areas within NORMAL - including GDPR and marketing - in collaboration with the international Legal team.
- Support the business with other legal matters as needed.

**Who are you?**
You take initiative and enjoy working in an international environment, where you communicate clearly with both colleagues and external partners. You work in a structured way and are good at keeping the overview, even when handling several contract negotiations at the same time. With a practical mindset, you focus on getting things done and delivering results at a steady and high pace.

We also expect that you:

- are a **qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of experience** in commercial real estate and other commercial contracts.
- have solid negotiation experience and are able to challenge both landlords and local advisors while ensuring the implementation of NORMAL’s formal requirements for lease agreements.
- are **fluent in Italian and English**, both written and spoken.
