Arduino's Design Team is looking for a Mid-Senior Level UX/UI Designer to work full-time with us and help ideate and build physical and digital products end-to-end. You have a hybrid profile between UX and UI and you're able to meet business needs with our end-users' experience in mind, while crafting compelling user interfaces. You'll join a skilled cross-functional team made up of product managers, designers, developers and engineers, and report directly to the Design Team Lead. You'll be hired via the Turin (Italy) headquarters and need to be eligible to work in Italy and reside in the country.

**Technical Qualifications**
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in Design, HCD, User Experience Design, Interaction Design or related education
- 5+ years of experience on cross team projects as a UX/UI Designer
- Experience working with UX, UI Designers and developers to propose the future experience of our products and staying on top of new ideas and best practice in UX/UI design to keep improving the team's work
- Strong digital product design oriented mind and work style
- Knowledge in usability and cognitive ergonomy in order to verify and suggest redesigns and improvements of complex task oriented digital products
- Experience in information architecture for complex ecosystems and SaaS
- Knowledge in benchmarking, user-flows, wire-framing and creation of mockups & prototypes
- Knowledge in web analytics in order to get the most from behavioral data on digital touch-points
- Creation and management of Design Systems, pattern libraries and style guides
- Proficiency in ensuring designs meet accessibility standards
- Experience collaborating with engineers to ensure an efficient and high quality build
- Proficiency in Figma
- Familiarity with SCRUM, Agile or Design Sprint methodologies

**Nice-to-Have**
- Experience in Interaction Design with Arduino and programming
- Experience in IoT, home automation or cloud platforms
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, Trello)
- Basic experience with HTML/CSS for design reviews with developers
