We're looking for a brilliant Operational Buyer to join our Procurement Team in Hilti Italia Headquarters.

**What does the role involve?**:
The Operational Buyer is responsible for the operational management of purchasing process in support of the Regional Strategic Buyer, operating across all purchasing categories, ensuring the compliance of each activities.
Your main **responsibilities **will be:

- Performs specific activities related to the purchase process (Purchase to Pay) with focus on the management of purchase requests and orders; the processes of receipt of goods and / or services; the definition of operating and control procedures, documents and the evaluation of suppliers with the related KPIs.
- Able to proactively interact with internal stakeholders (advice, technical support, training and complaint management) and external partners.
- Manages and guarantees compliance: shows knowledge and mastery of the Purchasing Policy and the purchasing / procurement processes and policies within Italy and the region of competence.
- Manages procurement projects (tender process) on contracts with limited volumes and complexity.
- Contribute to basic cross-functional projects and execute different process steps of a major project.

**What you need is**:

- Fluent in English and Italian;
- Advanced knowledge of Office suite.
- 1-2 years in purchasing is preferred;
- Knowledge of Sap, Ariba Guided Buying and Ariba Contract Management are preferred;
- Excellent problem solving attitude;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Team player and customer oriented.
