Transcriptionist (Finnish)

About the Role
What You'll Do
- Listen to short audio recordings and classify or tag them using project-specific labels.
- Transcribe spoken language from audio clips with high accuracy.
- Follow detailed guidelines for labeling, formatting, and transcription conventions.
- Flag or escalate unclear or poor-quality audio where needed.
- Meet daily or weekly quality and volume targets.
- Native-level speaker of Finnish, specifically as spoken in Finland
- Professional-level English skills (i.e., able to communicate with team members and read instructions in English)
- Previous experience with transcription work, ideally involving audio with background noise, multiple speakers, or varying accents
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (e.g., Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- General knowledge in online communication, such as Microsoft Teams
- Strong listening skills, high attention to detail, and ability to follow complex guidelines
- Good written communication skills and grammatical accuracy
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently

**Commitment**: This is a fully remote independent contractor position that will be staffed directly with HireArt's client.
