At our Reggio Emilia plant, Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a **Strategic Buyer Internship** to support our purchasing team. This role offers the chance to develop hands-on experience in procurement processes, supplier management, and cost-saving initiatives, while working in a global company committed to innovation and sustainability.

**Responsibilities**:
You will be guided by your tutor to learn and gradually take on the following responsibilities:

- You will manage requests for quotations and select suppliers, developing your analytical and negotiation skills.
- You will support cost-saving projects, contributing to strategic cost optimization.
- You will create and update Excel files, refining your data management skills.
- You will handle follow-ups with suppliers, improving communication and relationship management.
- You will update the SAP system with key information, such as prices and procurement lists.
- You will learn to negotiate discounts with suppliers, optimizing purchasing conditions.
- You will learn how to stabilize a supply base deep diving supplier capacity and stock level agreements.
- You will assist with contract management and back-office activities, ensuring operational efficiency.

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Management Engineering, Economics, or equivalent - courses related to management and/or Supply Chain are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, essential for data management and creating effective reports.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, necessary for interacting with suppliers and colleagues clearly and professionally.
- Strong command of both written and spoken Italian and English.
