Logistics Handling Operations Operator - Italy (Bentivoglio)
Join the team at CEVA Air & Ocean Italy S.P.A. as a Logistics Handling Operations Operator in our Bologna/Bentivoglio location. In this pivotal role within the Air Operations department, you will be instrumental in facilitating the seamless delivery of our logistics services, ensuring that all operations adhere to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
About the Role
As a Logistics Handling Operations Operator, you will work within the dynamic environment of our Air business unit, executing the day-to-day operational tasks essential to our logistics processes. Your role will contribute directly to the smooth functioning of supply chains, impacting both our clients and the broader operational framework within CEVA.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the loading and unloading of cargo to ensure timely and accurate transport of goods.
Perform quality checks to guarantee that all items meet operational and safety standards.
Coordinate with team members and other departments to align on operational goals and resolve any logístical challenges.
Document and report any discrepancies or issues that arise during handling processes.
Utilise logistics management systems to track shipments and maintain accurate inventory records.
Adhere to all health and safety policies and protocols within the workplace.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with logistics software and data entry.
Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs and schedules.
