How will you make an impact in this role?

In our Compliance department, in Italy, we are looking for a Compliance Analyst to support on execution of second level controls and Compliance risk assessment in the following areas of law: AML, Transparency, Insurance and Privacy & Data protection.

The Compliance analyst brings a good Compliance understanding with in-depth knowledge of the main area of law (as above mentioned), impacting on a financial institution and provides related assessment to the relevant stakeholders/business. The Compliance assistant will be involved in all aspects of compliance related activities/matters, including but not limited to, monitoring and analysis of new regulatory requirements, development and maintaining policies & procedures, supporting local and international business initiatives, second level controls, issue management and compliance risk assessment.

This position is responsible for:

- Support the Compliance Risk Assessment & Controls Manager in the implementation and execution of the ICT Annual Testing Plan.
- Support the Compliance Risk Assessment & Controls Manager to advice to the business on compliance-related matters and issue management.
- Support the Compliance Risk Assessment & Controls Manager for all Compliance matters in the daily activities.
- Support the Compliance Risk Assessment & Controls Manager to analyze the new and existing Regulation an provide guidance from a Compliance perspective.
- Assist the Compliance Risk Assessment & Controls Manager in the development of the risk assessment related to the relevant regulations above mentioned.
- Support Compliance Risk Assessment program.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, standards, and policies relevant the area of Aml, Transparency, Consumer Protection, privacy and the other relevant regulations.
- Support the Compliance Risk Assessment & Controls Manager in the proper management of the info flows towards the Local Governance Bodies.
- Support the Compliance Risk Assessment & Controls Manager in the management of “Esposti” to Bank of Italy.
- Support the Compliance Risk Assessment & Controls Manager in delivering an early Compliance impact assessment of new regulations, to ensure the timely implementation of requirements and controls.

Minimum Qualifications:

- At least 3 years’ experience in regulatory and/or Compliance field
- University degree (preferably Law or Economics)
- Previous experiences in Law firm, financial services/banking/insurance is a plus
- Proven ability to build rapport, garner respect and exercise authority appropriately in a collaborative environment
- Self-motivated, energetic team player with ability to work effectively in a matrix organization with all levels of management
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a deadline-intensive environment
- Proficient both in Italian and English, written and spoken
