**Position Summary**

Job Purpose

This position is a key role in S&OP (Sales & Operation Planning) process & IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process of Samsung. Being in charge of one of Samsung Air conditional Product groups, he/she will identify the market needs of each SKU in each channel, by analyzing all the factors affecting the demand, such as sales order status, inventory status, credit, competition, market trends, PLC (product life cycle), etc., in most efficient way. By doing so, deliver the most reliable and realistic demand plan by channel by model to ensure the proper supply planning & adequate channel inventory planning for reducing supply chain cost.

Supporting Direct and Indirect sales force by providing the most efficient contribution in terms of reporting, analysis and data management.

Drive in the most efficient way, the activities, which are related to the Demand Forecasting process as a key part of the Supply Chain Management, with total focus on AP1/2 process part.

**Role and Responsibilities**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct a detailed channel PSI (Purchasing, Sales, Inventory) analysis and forecast sell-in trend, collecting marketing, sales order & product availability information. Find implications from the analysis, and actively suggest efficient demand & supply plans to all team.
- Lead a weekly demand planning & supply meeting with sales to discuss the demand, collecting market and customers’ feedback
- Bridge the Planning ~ Execution through weekly communication with customers on demand plans, and through daily communication with Sales Operation and other SCM team members.
- Shape the demand reflecting the supply constraint, in case.
- Provide weekly or ad-hoc demand planning analysis and reporting: analysis of WOS level, Forecast Shape, etc.
- Support management in decision-making with data analyses
- Provide analysis on sales forecast accuracy KPI (result & trend) by pdt / channel / Account.
- Process and update sales reporting as required.
- Check and request allocation goods to Europe and italian central warehouse
- Match the actual situation with the sales forecasts and highlight the major discrepancies.
- Elaborate and update - on a weekly basis - the Demand Forecasting situation to be forwarded to the manufacturing sites to align the production phase to the local needs.
- Actively promote and sustain the SCM approach within the Business Unit ensuring the respect of Corporate guidelines and the timely elaboration of the required information.

**Skills and Qualifications**

**Qualifications/Requirements**:
Educational Background: Master / Bachelor degree

Professional Background: 4~6 years exp in supply chain or administration roles.

Computer Knowledge: excellent knowledge with Excel and the most common statistical and analytical marketing tools.

Language Knowledge: Good written and spoken English.

Travel required: n.a.

Others: Excellent analytical skill
