**SUMMARY OF ROLE**
We have a great opportunity to be part of our team as a key person for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment issues.
We are looking for a Temporary QHSE professional, familiar with the Oil and Gas sector, to build and maintain a customer driven QHSE management process. Through this you will help continuously improve the organisation quality, delivery, service, flexibility and total cost performance for Italy site.

**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Determine the direction and work priorities (in conjunction with line management) for the continuous improvement;
- Ensure Emerson’s Compliance with legal and corporate requirements related to QHSE;
- Full responsibility for Company preparations for annual H&S audits and Quality Assurance management programme and systems;
- Monitor HSE training to all employees throughout the UK organisation;
- Act as the focal point for Customer, ASP and third party quality audits;
- Maintain Quality Management System, Procedures and Work Instructions;
- Perform Quality Control checks on supplier / contractor processes to ensure that the quality of material and workmanship are accurate to specification and company standards;
- Maintain customer complaints, customer satisfaction and corrective action reporting procedures including root cause analysis and implementation of preventative measures;
- Carry out audits of the management system and process, approved suppliers and integration outsource;
- Facilitate and develop the Continuous Improvement Process, including preparation of management reports;
- Identify, develop and implement quality tools and techniques;
**FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Educated to HNC and/or Degree level in SHEQ fields or equivalent;
- IOSH accreditation is highly desirable;
- Experience of operating within SHEQ role or similar is crucial;
- Relevant membership to recognized Quality Institutes is helpful, as is knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards;
- Proven track record of performing industry recognized audits, program of implementation and dealing with internal/external customers and contractors/suppliers;
- Ability and willingness to travel to other Emerson locations and client sites in order to fulfil the role requirements;
- Proficiency in Italiand and English;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools;
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- University Degree education in Engineering or Health and Safety related
- 3-5 years experience within the position
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation + RSPP qualifications
