Commercial Finance Manager - Europe
The challenge
An exciting opportunity has arisen to contribute to the Commercial Finance Team at Haier Europe, responsible for shaping our Small Domestic Appliance business across European markets. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates the core values of Haier’s attitudes: Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Zero Distance to the Consumer and IoT & Ecosystem Thinking. As an experienced Commercial Finance professional, you will help us achieve our ambitions.
What you will do
As Commercial Finance Manager for our Small Domestic Appliance business across Europe, you will be a key Business Partner to the European SDA Sales and Marketing teams. You will assist the group and country functions in both Commercial and Financial Analysis, analysing current market trends of both the Haier Group and competitor brands.
Specifically, you will:
- Develop and deliver financial analysis to support business decisions, being the point of contact for the Sales and Marketing teams- Support in the preparation of business cases for new commercial strategies; new promotional investments, price increases etc.- Provide analysis on actuals and forecast, building and analyzing market and product P&L, helping to identify risk and opportunities and facilitating the organization in developing related action plans- Be an active contributor in building Budgets and Long-Range plans- Prepare monthly reporting for the senior leadership team- Liaise with the R&D function ensuring an accurate and updated product costing and input into the system- Support multi-functional change projects designed to enhance systems, processes, and data accuracy- Liaise with finance HQ functions ensuring P&L integrity and alignment with the business needs
What you need to succeed
**Requirements**:
- At least 5 years demonstrable experience in Finance, ideally gained within the consumer goods industry- Extensive Financial Management, Analysis, Reporting and Business Partnering experience- Advanced Microsoft Excel, SAP and HFM- Ability to present to and influence commercial teams- Strong organisational skills- Analytical data driven decision making- Thrives in a hands on, dynamic agile environment- Excellent problem-solving skills- Autonomous, self-motivated and structured- Batchelors Degree or equivalent- Fluent in English
