We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Air Export Agent to join our team - **based in Turin or Milan, Italy.** As an Air Export Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and timely shipment processes for our international air freight operations. This position requires a professional individual with strong customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage and coordinate air export shipments from origin to destination
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational systems
- Track and trace shipments, providing proactive updates to customers
- Liaise with airlines, customs authorities, and other relevant parties
- Prepare and review export documentation for compliance with international regulations
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and customer inquiries promptly
- Optimize shipment routes and costs to enhance efficiency
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of export regulations and industry trends
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
**Qualifications**
- 1-2 years proven experience in air export operations or related logistics role
- In-depth knowledge of export compliance regulations and procedures
- General understanding of airline and logistics industry practices
- ** Excellent communication skills in both Italian and English (mandatory)**:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities
