Accounting Controller

Leroy Seafood Italy srl is the youngest subsidiary of Lerøy Seafood Group, which is a world-leading seafood corporation with a history reaching back to 1899. The Group´s core business is the production of salmon and trout, catches of whitefish, processing, product development, marketing, sale and distribution of seafood. Leroy Seafood Italy’s factory and offices are located in Porto Viro. With this new location, Leroy Seafood Italy is a strategic player in the field of fresh and frozen seafood distribution, production of MAP, VAP, skin packed seafood products for both national and international markets. We are now looking for an Accounting & Finance Controller to be responsible for accounting, monitoring, controlling and correct reporting to authorities in accordance with legislation and regulations.

**Job content**
- Sales invoicing check and support
- Check and book vendors invoices
- Manage credit insurance accounts
- Manage banks including payments and transactions of various kinds
- Customer / supplier management including specifically collections and payments
- Reviewing financial statements, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts and assisting with budgeting and prognosis processes
- Provide data for monthly reporting to the Group in accordance with OIC and IFRS accounting standards
- Carry out financial analyses and assessments in connection with strategic choices related to the development of the company
- Work with auditors/fiscal consultants for VAT check and liquidation

**Desired qualifictaions and personal characteristics**
- Bachelor or master's in accounting/economics
- 3 + years of accounting and financial reporting experience
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and analytical skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexible and high working capacity
- Working knowledge or relevant IT tools, ERP-systems (preferably Microsoft BC), Excel and PowerBI
- Fluent in English and Italian
