**Overview**:
**Role purpose**:

- The Network Solutions & Delivery Engineer_ is responsible for development and provisioning of private andpublic network cloud solutions for different projects and stakeholders managing multiple medium to highcomplexity projects. He acts as a network integrator & operator and will work on network solutions that arematching demand and requirements. Apart from the specific skills with network technologies, the engineer hasto consider forms of technology integration and consumption example via APIs and Teraform. As part of a rolehe will also mentor junior level engineers (new starters) on current standards and best practices, providesecond level support for complex issues, problems or projects. Provides quality assurance for designs, assistsin training and coaching others by setting up training classes and developing “how to” guides to share withother team members the knowledge of projects which he was acting as reference.
Knowledge of the network infrastructure, cloud based network equipment (ACI) technologies and Public CloudSolutions is essential to properly manage the GDC networks and cloud solutions. Network data analysiscapabilities are required for this role. Capability to proactively analyse the infrastructure in order to provide bestin class network solutions & integration. Essential for the role are also soft skills as team player, basicunderstanding of project management and agile methodology, responsible attitude to actively drive activities tocompletion.

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:

- Education level equivalent to a bachelor degree
- Desired Vendor Certifications
- Cisco (CCNP or CCIE)
- F5 (BIG-IP)
- SDN, private and public cloud solutions)
- Teraform & APIs for network provisioning & consumption
- Network Data Analysis
- Desired: minimum 2 years experience with data centre and private/public cloud technologies
- Desired: minimum 3 years’ experience in data centre environment
- Desired: knowledge of scripting, network automation (Ansible, APIs, Teraform..) and programing(Python, Perl)
