The Procurement Cluster Engagement Lead South Europe will be responsible for leading a procurement team, supporting approximately $400 million in spends, mainly in Marketing and Sales as well as Business Services for Johnson & Johnson Companies. The role requires strong collaboration with business stakeholders, suppliers, and the procurement community. This individual will: - represent Procurement in the cluster as Primary point of contact to the Business. - develop, lead and/or support the development of category strategies in close collaboration with the global and regional category teams - lead and direct the implementation of category initiatives to support the Marketing and Sales teams in the different sectors such as Consumer Health, Pharma and Medical Devices as well as across all sector initiatives within J&J markets of the South Europe Cluster - plan and direct the activities of cross functional teams and hold full accountability to deliver against targets for financial performance, quality, service, social impact, and compliance adherence To develop end-to-end category leadership, the Cluster Engagement Lead South Europe will provide country cluster insights to the Global and Regional Category team such as: business insights, business needs and priorities as well as identify/develop and share innovative sourcing opportunities. The position must shape, connect and lead resources to deliver on key projects. The Cluster Engagement Lead South Europe scopes of responsibilities include: - Representing Procurement in the cluster as Primary point of contact - Active Stakeholder Management to enable key procurement initiatives - Identify business insights, business needs and priorities in close collaboration with the category organization and the Business Engagement Lead’s - Leading the local Business Planning process - Ensuring Cluster procurement process compliance - Understand category strategies and drove execution in partnership with business stakeholders to deliver maximum value for J&J - Accountable for delivery of Procurement cluster commitments including financial, service, reliability, quality, social impact, innovation, and growth - Develop deep supplier relationships with cluster specific suppliers to include data review and analysis, performance management and development, and improvement of end-to-end value, and bring innovation to the business - Escalate issues that may impact the Regional and/or Global Procurement organization. - Provide leadership to direct and/or indirect team members **Qualifications** - .7 to 10 years of relevant experience in at least one of the Marketing Categories: Media & Agencies, Professional Education, Sales & Distributions, Marketing Operations, Strategic Insights and/or General Administration (Corporate Services, HR Services, Travel). - Broad-based understanding of business operations and practices and core Procurement areas of focus (Spend Management: Category Management and Supplier Management). - Fluent English, working knowledge of either Italian, Spanish or French will be considered a _nice to have_ - Strong leadership, communication, influencing and cross functional collaboration - Ablility to prioritize requests and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives when necessary - Ability to show judgment in developing new approaches and resolving issues - Customer Orientation (building and maintaining strong relationships with J&J senior Management) - Ability to show strategic thinking - Strong project management skills - Strong verbal and written communication skill with ability to confidently present complex information - Strong level of credibility with internal customers, and with the supplier community - Strong influencing skills with ability to see issues from multiple viewpoints and understand differing needs of stakeholders (e.g., businesses, Procurement LT, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain); has "presence" - Successfully lead cross-functional teams - Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to respond to changes in the external environment, while ensuring the organization can effectively and efficiently move through transitions - For more than 130 years, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) have been part of our cultural fabric at Johnson & Johnson and woven into how we do business every day.
