We are seeking a seasoned and transformational AVP, Sales to lead Enterprise Industries in Italy. This leader will be responsible for inspirational sales leadership and management of growth through aggressively growing top-line revenues and driving new business through the implementation of scalable, repeatable, structured systems and processes.

Additionally, this leader will serve as a strong Business Leader, a Customer Partner and a Talent Multiplier and will have the personal drive and commitment to both understand and successfully navigate a fast-growing, global company striving towards continued market domination in an evolving marketplace.

**Responsibilities**:
The AVP, Sales will be responsible for setting and executing Salesforce’s sales strategy in Enterprise Industries.

Set and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate growth in revenue and bookings.

Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base within Italy.

Work closely with functions and other executives across the organization to establish and develop a strong and collaborative partnership to ensure continued success.

Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting. Almost 10 years experience in managing on a day-to-day basis a sales business with a strong cadence of deal closure on a monthly and quarterly basis; track record of consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals.

Manage the overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management.

Plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels. Engaging functionally across the Italian business (Account Management Marketing, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Sales Strategy, Finance, Employee Success, Recruiting) to fully utilise resources for the vertical
Continue growing and managing a team of high performers, developing the next generation of talent at Salesforce, and building a balanced team.

**Requirements**:
Proven 2nd line leadership experience leading teams in strategic sales in Italy for almost 4 years

Solid track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining a high performing enterprise sales organization

Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goal.

Proven relationships with key CXO across different Verticals Industries

Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal and reference-able customers

Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions
