We are looking for an **Account Director** to join our Client Engagement team.
Our Client Engagement team strives to become an indispensable asset to their clients. They live and breathe their client’s brand and category. Strategically thinking with clients is one of the key aspects of the role. Internally they are the “voice” of the brand/client.
As a full-service agency our Account Directors have to opportunity to lead/cooperate to a great variety of business areas including:
- Global brand launches
- Global & Regional brand management
- Digital Transformation
- Omnichannel customer centric engagement
- Digital campaign roll-out
- Competitive Intelligence/Qualitative Market Research
- Market Access MCM
- Patient support campaigns
- Business operations advisory
- Sales/Training support materials
- Medical Communications and HCP support materials
- Film, video and podcast creation
- Onsite/Virtual/Hybrid Events & congresses
- Digital Therapeutics
**Activities & Main Responsibilities**
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Leading client accounts within the agency, with overall responsibility for the client-agency relationship.
- Create detailed sales business plans
- Set and manage sales goals and quotas
- Manage the entire sales cycle
- Assist in finding prospects and leads
- Identify new sales opportunities
- Build strong client relationships
- Ensuring the profitability and growth of client accounts.
- Identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities with existing and future agency clients.
- Negotiating contracts and fees with marketing directors and client procurement personnel.
- Provide customer support when needed
- Learn new product and services features and benefits
- Provide professional after-sales support
- Respond to complaints and manage issues to ensure customer success and satisfaction
- Reporting key financial and team data to the agency's senior leadership, finance and human resources departments.
- Managing the work, performance and professional development of team members.
- Leading and inspiring those outside of the core team, including creative teams and those in other agencies working on the same account.
- Ability to liaise with:
- Internal: Agency management/leadership team; Agency account team, including planners/strategists; Creative teams and directors; Creative services and production staff; New business team; Human resources; Finance/accounts.
- External: Client marketing team, including Marketing Director; Client procurement personnel; Other agencies in their client's roster e.g. Media, Public Relations; Regulatory bodies; New business opportunity contacts.
**Qualifications and Education**
- Educated to a degree level - ideally in communication/marketing, economy, biology/pharmacy and/or other scientific pathway) / MA in business administration, sales, marketing or similar relevant field
- 3 years of experience as an Account Director or similar role
- Min 10 years of experience in healthcare and life sciences: previous agency experience as an Account Manager and/or Senior Account Manager.
**Skills and Competencies**
- Excellent level of the English language, written and spoken
- Good knowledge of the MS Office package is a must, Project Management tools a plus (including eventually any certifications)
- Management of priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

**Additional Information**
- Based in Milan or Salerno with high level of flexibility
