Our team is fully international and passionate about building the future of health and weight care for our customers. **Employment** We are offering regular employment within the United Kingdom or Malta for this role or a contractual agreement for team members dispersed throughout Europe, excluding those based in the UK and Malta. **About the role** **What you’ll do** - Develop and execute the company's technology strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and goals; - Lead a team of software engineers and other technical professionals to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge technology solutions; - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team, ensuring best practices and high-quality standards are consistently met; - Collaborate with other company stakeholders, including executive leadership, sales, marketing, and customer support, to drive product development and ensure customer satisfaction; - Develop and manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services; - Continuously evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and processes to optimize engineering operations and stay ahead of industry trends; - Maintain a deep understanding of the technology industry, including emerging trends, technologies, and competitive landscape, to inform strategic decision-making and product development; - Set and deliver KPIs for the engineering team, ensuring strong familiarity with OKR/KPI frameworks to continually measure and optimize team performance. **About you** - Experience working on both mobile and web-based products; - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred; - 8+ years of experience in software engineering or a related field, with at least 4 years in a leadership role; - Proven track record of success in developing and launching innovative technology solutions; - Strong technical expertise in software development and engineering operations; - Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams; - Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders; - Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. **Nice to haves** - Experience with products that have a large user base; - Experience with subscription-based products. **Benefits** - Flexible, remote working environment; - In-person company retreats and virtual gatherings; - Apple laptop and equipment for your needs; - Stock option plan; - Unlimited PTO; - Work with incredibly talented colleagues. **Life at Able** By joining Able, you’ll become part of a team that picks each other up, collaborates daily, and works hard, fast, and smart because they’re motivated and passionate about being the best in the industry.
