For our client, multinational operating in the Automotive Sector, we are looking for a

**Tax & Treasury Assistant Manager**

**Tax Advisory**

Arrange, in cooperation with Tax Consultants, the activities aimed to resolve taxation issues.

Take care of VAT monthly settlement, annual VAT declaration and blacklist declaration.

On quarterly basis, manage the communication of VAT relevant operations, and periodic VAT settlements communication.

Manage the audits initiated by various taxation authorities with the supervision of Tax & Accounting Manager.

Be responsible for withholding tax payment for professionals and related annual declaration.

Be responsible for calculation of taxes on real estate with the support of external tax consultants.

Be in charge of yearly tax calculation, with support of external tax consultants

Manage all the changes and update fiscal data communication to Tax Authority and Chamber of Commerce.

Collect statistical data for mandatory surveys, as requested by local authorities (i.e. ISTAT).

Support Tax and Accounting Manager for closing activity for tax requirement.

Liaise with tax advisors for preparing transfer price documentation, managing issues and reporting with headquarter in cooperation with Tax and Accounting Manager.

**Treasury**

Understand, manage, and supervise all aspects of cash flow.

Forecast daily cash requirements and execute daily financing decisions.

Manage long-term and short-term investment strategies.

Determine the Company’s goals and risk tolerance.

Prepare or monitor company’s various cash flow forecasts and perform financial modeling.

Evaluate, develop and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.

Understand and manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes.

Manage relationships with financial service providers.

Monitor bank service fees and address quality issues.

Conduct benchmark studies of banks and their services to evaluate whether it fits company’s requirements.

Recommend, implement and maintain process improvements.

Additional duties as requested by FI GM / CFO.

**Requirements**:
Accounting degree or equivalent.

Understanding of Italian, European and international financial accounting, tax and controlling regulations and standards.

Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience Expert in Accounting, Treasury and taxation knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations.

Motor sector and/or franchising operations desirable.

English professional.

Proficiency in Excel and ability to use it in a business context is a must,
