Vp, Site Operations Manager

Evotec is a leader in the discovery and development of novel small molecule drugs with operational sites in Europe and the US. Tasks and Responsibilities:
The Site Operations Manager of Evotec Modena S.r.l. is responsible for the general supervision of site operations to ensure the execution of activities aligned with ATMP's global business development and production strategy..

According to the overall organizational structure of Evotec, the Site Operations Manager doesn’t have direct reports, but works in a cross-functional way with all operational and support functions of the site and of other sites.

Reporting to the CEO of Evotec Modena, he/she is responsible for maintaining a smooth operational functioning of the site while developing its growth:
- in support of the Leadership team, oversees financial management and monitors the related KPIs in accordance with national regulations, SOX regulations and in alignment with corporate objectives- in support of the Quality Assurance function, monitors the management of the quality system and the related KPIs in compliance with cGMP regulations and in alignment with global policies- in support of operational functions, contributes to the evaluation and introduction of technological innovation in line with business strategies and needs- in support of the purchasing office, evaluates the suitability of the purchase offers for instrumentation and systems. When necessary, interacts directly with suppliers.- in support of engineering, drives the design and execution of company expansion plans in alignment with the leadership team- in support of operational functions and Maintenance & Facility dept., supervises operational planning to schedule interventions (maintenance and calibrations) in order to minimize the impact on production capacity- supervises the implementation of the preventive and reactive maintenance program ensuring that scientific equipment and technical facilities operate according to specifications and capabilities- oversees compliance with safety policies and procedures, in alignment with local and global guidelines and national regulations.- collaborates in the risk assessment and drafting of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and is responsible for keeping them up to date- is responsible for developing and maintaining among the whole site workforce the corporate culture in alignment with the principles and values of Evotec.- supports IT in the evaluation of business needs in terms of information systems (hardware and soft services)- supports Global functions and HR in the talent scouting process- in support of the Business Development Division, it contributes to business development by promoting and maintaining communication with customers and partners. When necessary, participates in fairs or congresses representing the operations of Evotec Modena- actively work with the functional global managers to the definition of employee’s personal targets and performance evaluation
