Internal Communications Lead

The Opportunity The aspiration of the QI Internal Communications team is to help team members to feel informed, connected and purposeful in order to drive QI performance. You will report directly to the Director of Internal Communications for QI, QRG People & Communications Team with close partnerships with the Market CEO, People Lead and Senior Management Team (SMT) Who We Are QVC empowers shoppers with knowledge and shares insights in a lively, engaging way. The Internal Communications Lead is important to ensuring our team members in Italy understand what makes us different than other retailers, so that they can help us create that difference for our customers every day. Your Impact - Market Internal Communication Strategy Development & Delivery - Partner with the market executive team to develop, advise on and execute strategies to drive team member communications in our strategy and promote company culture and raise brand awareness. - Partners with the Market Leader and executive team to communicate the market strategy in such a way that team members can connect their roles with the QI and market strategy/ QI Big Ideas Framework. - Develops a full calendar of communications and engagement opportunities and events for the Market Leader, in collaboration with the market CEO and other leaders - Leads and delivers on the strategy to develop multi-channel opportunities to storytell across internal platforms - Manages, develops and maintains all internal corporate communications channels in market QI Collaboration and internal communication activities - Works with the QI Internal Communication Director to align market internal communications and events to those of other markets - Ensure that the Qurate Retail Group/QVC International/QVC market culture is present at all team member touch points including communications, events, recognition, community affairs, and more. What You Bring - Minimum of 5- 8 years of experience in a communications role within a complex corporation or in an agency supporting one. - Degree in Communications or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience. - Bilingual English / Italian with some translation experience - Experience working with and preferably managing an intranet or content management system. - Experience with the full range of communications best practices, and ability to communicate complex technical business performance and financial data into clear external communications.
