**Service Sales Manager Industry**

The role requires senior sales skills combined with technical knowledge and as well as working experience in the Oil & Gas and traditional Power Generation sectors with rotating equipment.

The Sales Manager is part of the Industry Services sales team and is the key point of contact for the customers.
He/she provides both pre-and after-sales advice, supporting the sales administration team in preparing quotations/contracts, and promoting products and services in the pertinent Industries, with focus to the end-user in the Oil & Gas and traditional power generation Industry.

He/she collaborates regularly with other members of the sales team, within the country and worldwide, and colleagues from different departments in the headquarter, based in Germany.

The Sales Manager manages the customer relationship on all levels.

Ideal age range from 40 to 50. Availability to settle in Reggio Emilia is a plus.

**Typical work activities**
- Develop and reinforce partnership with key customers in the territory
- Customer relationship management, taking care of the long-term relationship with the customer through managing and interpreting his requirements
- Execute sales strategy and give input for products and/or services needed in the sub-region for Power, Oil & gas market with focus on Oil & Gas
- Ensure reaching defined sales targets (KPIs, e.g. sales volume, margin quality, market share) - regional targets set by Regional Service Manager
- Organizing sales visits, frequent business travels (60%)
- Monitoring the market share of the company and of the competition
- Putting in place actions to expand the market share of the company and to increase the presence of the company in the market
- Identifies new market opportunities and projects and reporting and follow them up with the company CRM
- Negotiating offers and contract terms and conditions to meet both customer and company needs;
- Closely working with the sales administration team which prepare customer quotations and performs sales administration
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services
- Preparing reports using the company CRM
- Making product presentations
**Qualifications**

He/she must already have a wide relationship network in the POG market available and must be able to expand it further over the time.

He/she must be prepared for frequent presence at the Customers’ sites.

Knowledge of both Italian and English language is a must.

**Requirements**:

- Mechanical Engineer or Business Management degree from recognized university or high level of expertise in rotating equipment in the Oil & Gas and/or power generation industry
- 4+ years relevant experience in the Oil & Gas and/or power generation Rotating equipment business
- Experience in sales
- Availability to travel regularly in Italy and occasionally abroad (Germany and Western Europe countries as required)
- CRM system knowledge as an advantage
- German language as an advantage
